The sad. story of my personal tragedies...
I colored the pertinent bits in case you just want to skim for the highlights.
So, ya wanna know why I'm in need of some money, right?  Well, here's the deal.  I live in Florida, and in September,  we got hit by several hurricanes back to back.  Up until that time, I was working, in the process of getting my credit fixed so that I can buy they house I live in, and managing to support myself, my disabled boyfriend (while he goes to school) and my 3 dogs and 2  cats, and doing okay.   Then I had an unfortunate six week period of financial disasters, starting with hurricane Frances, which left with no power for four days and screwed up my computer (costing me almost 200.00 to fix) and making me unable to work for another four days.  (On top of the money it cost me in extra hurricane supplies, nonperishable food items, bottled water, and restaurants because we couldn't cook and got sick of peanut butter ) In order to make up for the money I lost (I work at home as a medical transcriptionist on my computer) I was forced to take out two payday loans.  They're pretty expensive, but I could handle them. Until Hurricane Jeanne came the next week, and left without power for another four days.  Again, no work!  On top of which, I now had the payday loan payments to make, so I was forced to get two more payday loans to make up that money.  It was pretty tough and  stretching it, but I would have been fine, except then my coordinator at work decided to take a day off from work on the day I submitted my bonuses for that pay period.   I depended on my bonuses as part of my income, especially with all this added debt, and they didn't get put on that check.. so my check was $400 less than expected.  Well, that pretty much sucked, and I was screwed..but still managing to juggle.  Until one of my payday loans screwed up and took the entire $600 ($500 loan + $100 in fees) out of my account, and caused a whole bunch of crap to bounce..to the tune of about 300.00 in fees.  Then, they apologized and agreed to reloan, but because I had bounced a payment, they would only loan me $350, instead of the $500 I expected.  At this point, I was (and am) deeply screwed, and need some kinda help from somewhere..someone.. ANYONE!

My credit still isn't good enough to qualify for a personal loan or credit cards, and I don't own a house so can't borrow on anything.  I pretty much have no assets. I applied to disaster relief through FEMA, but didn't qualify because my damages were financial and not property damage.  They referred me to the SBA for help, still no luck.  I have asked family and friends,  but nobody has the money to give... or they just won't.  It's Christmas, and everyone is tight on cash, and nobody I know has good credit or the resources to qualify for a loan either.  (Pathetic, right!)

So, here I am, deeply in debt and stuck resorting to begging for spare change from the kind  hearted of the internet.  The point is, that I need some help, and I would deeply appreciate it if you would just click on this little Paypal button below, or pop a small check or a dollar or two or five, into an envelope, and help a sistah out. Or even visit my sponsor page and help by patronizing one my lovely affiliate links.  It will make you feel good.  It will increase your karma.  It will get your name and any link you like listed on the donor page, and it will sure as hell help me out!
